Never Lose is a descendant of Lector van den Bisschop (Bamako de Muze x For Pleasure) who is currently achieving great things with Koen Vereecke at the 1.60 level. The father of Lector is Bamako de Muze (jumped 1.60 by Darco) who is a direct son of the famous mare Fragance de Chalus. She is the mother of several 1.60 horses. Cordula de Laubry, the mother of Lector, in turn produced no fewer than seven offspring at the 1.60 level and was proclaimed the best mare in the world by Hippomundo!
The damline of Neverlose is not bad either. Mother “Watch Me van de Wolfsakker” is a daughter of the 1.60 jumping Tolano van ’t Riethof (by Chin Chin) and the 1.50 jumping Barones (by Nimmerdor). Barones also accounts for the motherhood of the very special show jumper ‘Gancia de Muze,’ which has a winnings total of €1,850,000 Besides Gancia Barones gave four other international showjumpers at GP level and she is the grandmother of Luv V and Wivau M who jump at the highest level. Great-grandmother Passe (sired by Erdball xx) is the mother and grandmother of several international Grand Prix horses.
The first foals of Never Lose are long-lined, have size, and possess a good canter. Never Lose was one of the eye-catchers at the 2023 World Young Jumper Championships in Lanaken. In the stallion competition edition 2023-2024, he jumped all rounds very consistently and clear. In the final results, he ended up in an impressive fourth place. In September 2024, Never Lose was selected by the KWPN for the WBFSH Global Champions Trophy in Valkenswaard and jumped clear all days there. In the 2024-2025 stallion competition, as in the previous year, he finished fourth in the final standings.
